The research and development of the technical process and equipment for water cooling moulds started in 2008 and succeeded in 2010 for producing ingots of Q235B, Q345B, Q345E-Z35, Q245R, Q345R, 16MnR, 45#, 50#, S45C, S50C, P20, weighing 20t (thickness 500mm), 60t(thickness 900mm) and 80t( thickness 1100 mm). Thus plates of Q235B, Q345B, Q235R,Q345R, 16MnR, 45#, P20 with thickness of 100mm, 150mm, 180mm, 200mm, 400mm are successfully milled. All the inspections and tests conducted by international Class I is proved to be of good quality. Among the products, 45# (100mm), Q235B (200mm) are supplied to customers in batches and has won good reputation for the technical index of exterior quality and machinery properties.
Licenses for some special equipment are being applied for the approval. Plates such as Q245R, 12Cr2MolR, 15CrMoR, 14Cr1MoR, 12 Cr1MoVR are permitted to thickness of 150mm, Q345R, to 200mm, and 16MnDR, to 120mm.
